AviationFacts.eu is an initiative of the Aviation Academy at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Students and teachers share knowledge with politicians and the general public to ensure discussions are based on facts. The facts are presented in fact sheets: short reports on current aviation themes.
The HvA Aviation Academy provides the bachelor’s program in Aviation and the Aviation Research program. The bachelor’s program comprises two specializations: Aviation Engineering and Aviation Operations. Aviation Engineering generally focuses on Flight Operations, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul and Aircraft Modifications. Aviation Operations focuses on Aviation Logistics, Air Transport Development and Security & Technology. The Aviation Research program offers research opportunities for outstanding students of both Aviation Engineering as well as Aviation Operations, within the themes of Maintenance, Safety, Capacity and Composites.
